Der Wissenschaftsrat (WR) der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Sportmedizin und Prävention (DGSP) organisiert am 24. und 25. September 2026 in Tübingen den German Congress of Science in Sports Medicine.
Der WR der DGSP und die eingesetzte Programmkommission verfolgen mit diesem Kongress neue Ideen mit dem Ziel, den Austausch zwischen exzellenten und etablierten Kolleginnen und Kollegen mit den jungen Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern unseres Fachs zu erleichtern und zu vertiefen.
Darüber hinaus bietet ein Pre-day am 23. September 2026 den Mitgliedern der YoungDGSP eine Plattform für weitere Austauschformate wie Interest Groups, Workshops zu klinischen und wissenschaftlichen Methoden sowie für die Diskussion von Studienprotokollen.

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the 1th German Congress of Science in Sports Medicine, which is organized by the Scientific Board of the German Society of Sports Medicine and Prevention (DGSP). We are convinced that we will experience exciting science with highly relevant and up-to-date topics and will enjoy intensive interactions with colleagues.
Considering the new format of our congress, the Scientific Board of the DGSP and the program committee are pursuing new ideas with the aim to facilitate the exchange between excellent and established colleagues and young scientists. Moreover, a pre-day on September 23rd offers colleagues of the Young-DGSP a platform for further exchange formats such as interest groups, workshops on clinical and scientific skills as well as for the discussion of study protocols. We strongly encourage all scientists in the broad field of sports medicine to actively support this congress by submitting their own work. The call for abstracts will begin shortly.
Tübingen is delighted and proud to be hosting a German Sports Medicine Congress once again after almost 20 years. We warmly welcome all participants and are expecting an excellent conference, a vivid exchange of scientific knowledge and fruitful discussions in a friendly atmosphere.
